I wonder do they still have that tiled portion in the larger classrooms where the sinks etc are - I used to think it had a special Irish name - saordaerÃa....it wasn't until maybe 15 years after I'd left Scoil Mhuire that I twigged it had been 'shared area' all along :S
I wonder if the scorch marks left by Gerry Loftus doing warp-speed squat thrusts in 1981 or something are still on the floor of the hall in the junior school...
