Dulwich / The Plough (London 40)

We celebrated a milestone birthday last week. Thanks to all for the colour coded balloons, the poppadoms, the cake and the company.

We headed off to London the next day...

 to see The Lion King.,..

...Big Ben.....

....and the London Eye

...travelling in style, paying by the mile....

 A born traveller

Breakfast stroll to see if we could spot the Queen buying rashers....

 St James Park
"Dilly Dally Circus"

Then it was off to King's Cross Station to visit Platform 9 3/4 with.....

....one hardcore Harry Potter fan and...

.....one in waiting

Failing to spot anything "doggish" S settled on Paddington Bear

We made a point of visiting the Tate Modern as the girls were impressed by our artistic shenanigans in New York.

D finally gets to see a real Jackson Pollock

We finished up a busy couple of weeks with the wedding of Stephen and Jan, a day filled with great music (Bad Manners' Special Brew played by a string quartet in the church..... genius!), great people and some of the best speeches and dancing ever to grace a wedding reception. A thoroughly enjoyable day. The photobooth theme continues.
