Complete fluke, a coincidental accident cos I haven't taken a photo of D in weeks, but the photo above of her today, standing clapping her hands, is documentary evidence of the very first time she stood on her own two feet. The hand clapping was a bonus. The light is weird and my knee is in the way but it matters not.......our baba is now a biped. No photoshop, no mirrors, no strings attached, no suddenly removed support for the camera. Just two bare feet, a wooden floor and a baby so delighted with herself that she forgot to play it safe. May she have many more such moments of fearless delight.
