M spent a lot of her Easter holidays out in the garden getting mucked up to the eyeballs with a willing accomplice for the first time. There's pumpkins afoot. Squash is imminent. Broccoli is almost upon us. There could even be onions on the horizon. D and Buzby (B) will be the most regular of offspring come September time.

The Story Of Easter (Total Coconut)

No sooner had the Easter Bunny hidden his egg behind the biggest tree in the garden just after breakfast than D smelled chocolate. She dressed herself in her finest Easter outfit and headed for the garden, bucket basket and handbag under her arm.

She directed her hydraulic mammytaxi in baba speak towards her glittering prize...... Over a bit, down a bit. STOP! Ground lebel...jjjh allaah (yep) *nods head, points* dah.

The Easter Egg had no chance....

Into the handbag it went, never to be seen whole again.

The Only Child Community Games, Gold, Silver,Bronze, Blue, Pink....

We also had Dilunchfast (Dinner Lunch and Breakfast.... in the one meal) with the Germans who brought their beautiful daughter Roisín home for the first time.

Roisín

We jumped at the rare opportunity to take a depression era group family shot against some incidental panel fencing.

Then it was over to the schoolhouse for some earth wind and fire - but not neccessarily in that order. Hiroko and Arwen cooked an amazing dinner. We camped in the back garden (bringing back some long repressed memories)

The best Easter bonfire eventually took flight

Virtual whellchairs were rolled out

And the Easter bunny left some dayglo Easter eggs

The evening ended with the most charming anecdotes from the most unlikely of sources

And the dish ran away with the spoon (me bize)
